Tedial history

When José Mesas – one of the most respected TV engineers in Spain, with decades of practical experience managing a large TV network – sat down with a group of computer science experts, senior researchers of the University of Malaga’s prestigious Faculty of IT, to talk about what broadcasters really need, something interesting was bound to happen.

And so Tedial was born: a perfect combination of skills, enthusiasm, experience and expertise.

On one hand, Tedial is based on the strong desire to push boundaries by developing advanced software to the highest standards while drawing on specialised expertise in computer architecture, databases, file processing and the understanding of the importance of carrying out workflows under strict business rule control. On the other hand, Tedial is also founded on no-nonsense pragmatism born from the real-life experience of working with limited budgets and under high pressure to speed up production output, reduce costs, simplify processes and avoid risks.

The basis of Tedial’s innovative products – considered by many as the best in the market – is our commitment to develop technology with practical applications born from academic-driven R&D.  This ethos, combined with outstanding customer support, explains the success of our company and is the reason why some of the world’s most complex and largest broadcast MAM systems rely on Tedial technology.
