Peter Gallen Appointment
Tedial continues to grow with appointment of Peter Gallen as Solution Architect.
Tedial, the leading provider of Media Asset Management (MAM), Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Business Process Management (BPM) software has today announced the appointment of archive industry veteran Peter Gallen as Solution Architect. Gallen will be involved in the design and execution of MAM projects for Tedial prospects as well as producing technical research and marketing literature.
Gallen has recently worked as a consultant advising on MAM and product management issues for a number of broadcast equipment manufacturers including Sony and Dalet. Prior to this he was Director of Product Management/Solutions at TMD and he has also held key roles at Verizon Business, Vitec Group Communications, Convera Technology and StorageTek in a highly successful career that has spanned more than 20 years.
Commenting on his appointment he says, “I’m thrilled to join Tedial at this exciting time. Throughout my career, I have worked at the sharp end of media technology changes including early computer graphic systems and the advent of non-linear editing, to the current move by broadcasters to digital workflows and MAM and archive solutions. As a result, I have gained considerable knowledge and experience of the evolution and application of digital workflows for broadcasters and other media-centric organisations from both solution architecture and workflow innovation perspectives.”
Rafael Dubois, Tedial’s Sales and Marketing Director adds, “We are delighted to welcome Peter to the team. He has a solid background within this area of the industry and an array of contacts having vast experience setting up distribution networks in former roles. The past 12 months have been a great success for Tedial and we look forward to new challenges in 2012.”
