JoinTedial at IBC 2011 to celebrate its tenth anniversary and see why broadcasters all over the world are choosing Tedial to answer their MAM and workflow requirements.
New product updates for IBC 2011:
• Ficus (BPM): Tedial is announcing updates to Ficus the most proven and mature BPM (Business Process Manager) in the broadcast industry. Its latest enhancements include increased integration to third-party systems including traffic and automation. This high level integration allows new workflows to be triggered using simple xml messaging allowing broadcasters to continue to take advantage of legacy systems when required. Ficus’ powerful grid computing supports the management of over 3,500 workflows a day – a true testimony to the scalability of the solution.
• Media Process Manager (MPM): Tedial’s renowned enterprise integration system MPM is based on layered logic. The latest version supports ingest of high-resolution formats such as DNxHD and XDCam directly into an Avid environment. Further highlighting its tight integration with Avid Tedial will show for the first time in Europe how metadata can be ingested and edited directly into Avid Interplay using its Tedial Capture client. MPM automatically detects the aspect ratio of a video file that it is processing and is able to handle video files with multiple audio tracks. It can move media and metadata to and from Interplay either automatically or manually performing any required rewrapping ‘on the fly’.
• Tarsys: This is Tedial’s powerful MAM system with integrated HSM software. The latest version includes a web-based administration GUI for managing database data models. Administrators can access tools via any PC to manage data repositories, create folders for cataloguing and specialised metadata fields, thesaurus and multi-language dictionaries. It also allows administrators to manage multiple users’ access rights profiles. The web-based administration GUI provides tools for system auditing allowing the administrator to check logs and review activities. Administrators can filter information by user, date and specific services.
European launch:
• Capture: The latest version of Tedial’s ingest manager application – Capture - includes simultaneous control of multiple ingest channels from the same client. For live ingest, Capture now allows operators to directly perform media logging and segmentation online using low-res proxy copies.
