Tedial continues its collaboration with CSJ-Colombia.
This is the third consecutive year that the High Council of the Colombian Justice chooses Tedial´s technology to introduce oral proceedings in the Penal System of Colombia. The application developed by Tedial, “TARSYS Salas de Audiencia”, will be installed in 2007, in a total of 1069 courtrooms through all the Colombian Republic.
The application “TARSYS Salas de Audiencia” has been developed according to the Penal Proceedings Law and the Criminal Justice Law of Colombia. It includes the proceeding phases (Guaranty, Knowledge and High Court), the expected hearing in each phase, the kind of crimes that are considered in Law, the possible preventive measures, and everyone that participates in each hearing (judge, attorneys, lawyers, defendants, witnesses, experts, etc.)
“TARSYS Salas de Audiencia” integrates with the judicial proceedings management system, Justicia XXI. Tarsys imports all the audience data and, automatically, creates a cataloguing structure that allows identification of all participants during the hearing. It allows including documents (PDF, WORD, photos) during the hearing. Once it is finished, Tarsys updates the information in Justicia XXI system.
“TARSYS Salas de Audiencia” query client shows all phases of the proceeding, the hearings in each phase and participants in the courthearing. The authorized staff can have access to the individualized statements, using the provisional indexing created during the hearing.
Finally, given the successful implantation of the oral proceedings in the Penal System of Colombia, Tedial is cooperating with the CSJ, High Council of Colombian Justice, in the expansion of “TARSYS Salas de Audiencia” to the Labour System and the Childhood and Adolescence Code. Its implantation is expected for 2008.
