Broadcast 2007

TEDIAL. After IBC, Broadcast 2007.

Following some fruitful sessions in IBC 2007, TEDIAL is ready to attend Broadcast 2007, a biennial taking place in IFEMA, Madrid, in a few weeks time, from 6 to 9 November.

Since its beginning, TEDIAL has been exhibiting its products and technological solutions for the audiovisual medium in IFEMA, as well as in other international fairs, at all times to the benefit of good relations between companies and a growing knowledge with regard to abroad, where it has numerous clients.

There can be no doubting the resounding success that can be expected for TEDIAL in the International Audiovisual Technology Show of Broadcast 2007, where it will be presenting its new developments in terms of management of audiovisual contents and production. If we had to highlight any particular one, we could not fail to mention TD FICUS©, which expands the line of products from this Malaga company, along with TD TARSYS© (automatic contents manager), TD MPM© (automatisation of media flows in the tatos network), TD AST© (automatic manager of distributed and hierarchised storage) and TD INDEXER© (automatic indexing, standardisation of formats, transcoding and re-encapsulating of media).

TD FICUS © is the new automatic manager of audiovisual production processes. This systems permits personalised design of production flows in television and the automatic creation of work orders for each of the phases of the audiovisual production flow. Ingest/Digitisation, quality control, verification of emission regulations, subtitling, edition and creation of versions, are some of these phases. TD FICUS © is integrated with the TARSYS and MPM systems from TEDIAL, along with the systems for traffic, automatisation, writing and filing of the installation. TD FICUS © expands the line of TEDIAL products in order to introduce fully digital audiovisual production systems. As with the other TEDIAL products, TD FICUS © is based on Web service technologies, guaranteeing its integration with other applications.

Another strong point for Broadcast 2007 is the integration of TEDIAL with Quantel, their joint efforts being aimed so that servers, editors and files are no longer such independent pieces linked by standard interfaces but instead make up a genuine work unit where:
The file contents and the emission space are combined in a transparent way.

The work flows, powerful and personalised, are taken care of from the beginning to the end of the lifecycle of the medium from inside within the system, from the ingest to the file, allowing the MAM to maintain contact with the contents of the entire system at any moment.
The user is granted easy access both for the MAM (for consulting, viewing, selecting contents within the system) and for the Quantel editor where the contents will be edited and postproduced.

All this will be able to be seen more thoroughly in the TEDIAL booth, #10G714 in Broadcast 2007, IFEMA, Madrid. For further information on other TEDIAL products and news, visit www.tedial.com .
