The content management technology of Tedial has been introduced as the best solution for tapeless model implantation at Bainet, because it allows to have all required systems integrated for the content production and also the automatic publishing of Bainet web contents..
Once again, the flexibility of Tedial´s products for defining the data model and interfaces customization (Tarsys) for the design and flow processing of material through activity areas (MPM) and the automatic management of disc/tape storage (AST) have allowed this project to be implemented in a very short time..
Metadata, low resolution copy (Proxy) and the storyboard are managed by the powerful Tarsys system, the intelligent module which is used as BAINET central archive. Tarsys consult and cataloguing client permits to research and browse material as well as to catalogue and to make orders to move material between systems. Indexer, from TEDIAL, generates the proxy copy, the storyboard, the analysis and the material indexation. The automatic storage management of disc and LTO tape library is carried out by AST, which is Tedial´s HSM (Hierarchical Storage Manager). Finally, Tedial´s MPM (Media Process Manager) integrates the different systems of Bainet. MPM is the most flexible and scalable integration system for broadcast applications (EAI) in the market, and also guarantees format compatibility with different equipments and permits metadata exchange between systems..
