Tedial’s IMF Primer at SMPTE Toronto Technical Conference 2018

Jay Batista, Tedial’s General Manager, US Operations has been invited to speak at the SMPTE Toronto Technical Conference 2018 to be held on June 13th & 14th. The popular event, in its 21st year, attracts Canada’s largest technical audience of media professionals and industry experts seeking new and evolving methods and technologies.

Jay’s presentation, titled A Simple IMF Primer” supports this year’s theme: “Technologies for Storytelling”.  Jay will introduce IMF, explain its origins, and explore how different projects and positions shape IMF usefulness for each application. Jay will also de-mystify the alphabet soup of IMF buzzwords such as MXF, DCP, CPL, OPL, IMP, etc. Attendees will discover IMF’s impact on MAM’s and workflow orchestration, and its real-world benefits.

Jay’s presentation is scheduled for June 13th at 2PM. The event will be held at Ryerson University in Toronto.
