The smartPack for Localisation by Tedial is a robust solution for managing content localisation in the Media and Entertainment industry. It efficiently handles and orchestrates the localisation process, encompassing languages, subtitles, and audio descriptions, tailored for diverse markets.
Key services include media ingest, coordination for the production of localised elements with third-party contributors, and final master delivery. Optional features such as compliance checks, content enrichment through manual logging or AI tools, and additional transcoding services are available. By facilitating smooth collaboration and process management, this smartPack streamlines content localisation, ensuring effective reach to global audiences.
Functionality
- Master Ingest: The original master file is ingested into the system as the foundation for the localization process.
- Work Order: Different triggering methods can be utilized to initiate the localization work order. These methods include API Calls, Workflow processes, or Work Orders from external systems.
- Preparation: A proxy version of the original master is created and dispatched to third-party contributors for audio track and subtitle localization.
- Localization: New localized tracks created externally are ingested back into smartWork.
- Track Matching: These tracks are then accurately matched with the existing master asset.
- Quality Assurance: Optional automated quality checks are performed to ensure the integrity of the localized tracks. Localized assets undergo a formal approval process to certify readiness for distribution.
- Content Enrichment (optional): Further enhance the value of your assets with optional metadata logging, done manually or via AI tools.
- Distribution: Finally, the newly localized version is ready for distribution to the target market
