At IBC 2026 we confirmed that the industry has moved past the hype of isolated AI tools. This year in Amsterdam, the conversations at our booth shifted to a much more fundamental challenge. Media professionals want to know how to connect their people, legacy systems and new technologies into a single, functional ecosystem.
Over the past months we’ve been listening closely to the specific questions and operational roadblocks described by our customers and prospects. It was encouraging to see our core strategy reflected directly in their real-world needs as we saw the reactions to the launch of our Media Business Hub (MBH).
Built on top of EVO MAM and smartWork, MBH is a business enablement platform that provides a single, secure digital workspace to connect the entire technology ecosystem. Rather than forcing teams to juggle disconnected tools, MBH brings together Tedial applications, third-party software, legacy systems, and specialized services into one unified B2B environment.
That vision of a connected ecosystem framed many of the insightful discussions we had at our booth this year which are summarized below.
1. Enterprise-Grade Foundations for Ambitious Projects
We spoke with several Tier 1 broadcasters mapping out massive digital transformations. Their main concern wasn’t just immediate features, but long-term future-proofing. They need enterprise-grade, modern technology that scales safely. We walked them through how our underlying media asset management, storage management, orchestration and integration capabilities provide a secure, high-performance foundation built to handle heavy-lift projects without putting current operations at risk.
2. Proven Monetization for Top-Tier Sports
Some of the most engaging discussions came from premier sports organizations. They are actively looking for better ways to manage, analyze, distribute and monetize their massive archives. They don’t want experimental software, they want proven reference platforms. It was highly rewarding to discuss how MBH is already being adopted and delivering results for some of our top sports customers and sparking interest from other major international leagues that we are working with.
3. True Multi-Tenancy Across Regions
A recurring operational hurdle brought to us by large media groups was the friction of managing distinct systems across different territories. They were explicitly looking for robust, true multi-tenant solutions. We showed them how our platform enables centralized orchestration and seamless management across multiple regional sites, on the cloud, on-prem and in hybrid operations. This gives each unit independence while keeping the overarching architecture connected.
4. Expanding Ecosystems Through Partnerships
We had fantastic meetings with partner companies looking to bring Tedial’s technology to their local networks and markets. The introduction of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and our composable smartPacks resonated strongly with this group. Partners immediately recognized the value of a modular approach that goes beyond basic file movement to trigger actual business processes across a wider ecosystem.
5. AI That Understands Intent
The practical application of AI remains a massive draw. Visitors are eager to move past manual metadata tagging. We demonstrated the semantic search capabilities inside our AI-powered EVO MAM. Users quickly understood the time-saving impact on their daily operations as well as new content monetization possibilities when they saw they could perform a semantic search for visual concepts and combine that query with traditional metadata filters for pinpoint precision.
Looking Ahead
IBC 2026 proved that the future of the media supply chain isn’t just about moving files faster, it’s about connecting the entire business. We are thrilled by the reception of MBH and our solutions and we look forward to helping our customers and partners turn these conversations into reality.
