Broadcast project of the year. This award celebrates excellence in the MENA broadcast and satellite industry

Malaga, Spain – November 16, 2017 – Kuwait TV – the official state-run television station of Kuwait – has received BroadcastPro ME Editor’s Choice award for Broadcast Project of the Year for the broadcaster’s joint Tedial and EVS production installation which provides a bi-directional link between EVS’ live production asset management suite, IPDirector and Tedial’s Evolution enterprise MAM system. During live productions, content is ingested by more than 20 EVS XS series servers and users can quickly and efficiently send live assets such as replays, highlights and clips from IPDirector directly into Tedial’s Evolution. Quickly moving content in this way immediate frees up valuable storage space on the EVS servers. The honors were presented at the ASBU BroadcastPro ME Selevision Awards 2017, on 14th November at a gala dinner and ceremony.

Kuwait TV is the first to adopt the joint solution, which pairs the speed and reliability of EVS technology with the robust and secure nature of the Tedial system. Kuwait TV, run by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, produces and broadcasts content across eight TV channels. It selected the joint solution to integrate into its long-term archive management system and its EVS IPDirector suite.

“We are honored to have been recognized as part of this highly prestigious award won by our partner Kuwait TV,” says Esther Mesas, Tedial’s Chief Sales Officer/Chief Marketing Officer. “The Tedial/EVS solution removes unnecessary additional steps from the production workflow and allows users to operate much more efficiently. We have worked very closely with EVS to develop a thorough integration between our two companies’ technology, allowing us to enhance and support EVS’ industry-leading live tools.”

CABSAT 2018 visitors can find out more about the solution on Tedial’s stand: ZB6-C42.
